Employee Opinion Survey 2016

As we’re now entering the final two weeks of this year’s Employee Opinion Survey I’d like to take the opportunity to add my personal request to those requests that you have been receiving in your own service to encourage everyone who hasn’t as yet completed the 2016 survey to please take 5-10 minutes out of your working day to share your opinion.  Opinions from across the Council are vital to assist in shaping our workplace of the future.

It’s sometimes difficult to believe that two years has passed since the last Employee Opinion Survey – the volume of hard-work that’s taken place over that time is astonishing.  The 2014 survey uptake was disappointingly low at 21% and that in itself told us a lot about how staff were feeling at the time.

Since then we’ve collectively worked hard to act on the feedback received and together we’ve made improving our culture one of our main priorities.

This year we’ve already surpassed the 21% mark so a big thank you to all who have already taken the opportunity to share your views.  I do hope that everyone takes up the invitation.

The survey closes on 2nd December and is completely anonymous as its being carried out by an external company, BMG.

The final results will be available to all of us early in 2017.
